Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have apprehended another suspect linked to the murder of Willis Ayieko, a former Human Resource Manager at Wells Fargo.
The arrested suspect, Fredrick Otieno Omondi, is a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) operator believed to have played a significant role in Ayieko’s abduction and murder. Police reports indicate that Omondi allegedly transported the primary suspect, Victor Ouma (also known as Sisco), to the location where Ayieko was abducted.
Ouma, initially detained in Dandora, Nairobi, is thought to be the main perpetrator behind the crime. Authorities revealed that Omondi used his motorbike to facilitate the suspects’ movements during the incident.
In a related development last week, police in Kisumu fatally shot another suspect, Robert Okoth, identified as Ouma’s brother, who was also reportedly involved in Ayieko’s murder.
The investigation remains active, with DCI officers exploring multiple leads to uncover all details surrounding the circumstances of Ayieko’s death.
