Britney Spears has given fans an update amid reports that family and friends were afraid for her life and tried to set up an intervention.
In a video uploaded to Instagram, the 41-year-old pop star said she’s alive, and also revealed in the caption that she’s taking Prozac for depression.
What Triggered Her Depression
A source close to Spears confirmed her depression to Livenow Africa, saying it was caused partly by the refusal of her sons to see her. She has two kids – Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15 – who are currently staying with their father, the Toxic singer’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
