Kanyari’s Sh310 Argument for Kasarani MP Bid

Pastor James Wanjohi Kanyari is making an unusual case for his bid to become the next MP for Kasarani: his ability to raise small contributions from the public, he says, shows that he can also persuade the government to release funds for the constituency. Speaking to residents on Sunday, September 13, during his campaign, Kanyari pointed to his experience asking people to contribute Sh310, a reference to the controversial “Mbegu ya 310” initiative.
