Cyrus Ndiki, once a promising academic achiever from Murang'a, shares his journey of downfall after losing his cherished banking job just four months into his career due to alcoholism.

In a candid interview on NTV's Wingu la Mtindi, Ndiki revealed how his academic success, including an A in KCPE and a B plain in high school, led him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Nairobi.

Despite securing a teaching position for seven years, Ndiki's ultimate goal was a career in banking, which he achieved briefly before being fired due to his alcohol addiction.

"Alcohol has its issues, but the problem is what triggers the bad habit," Ndiki reflected, acknowledging the role of idleness and joblessness in his downward spiral.
