Kibera-born socialite Pritty Vishy was left in tears on Thursday after her new song, "Kienyeji," was taken down by YouTube. The song, which featured Dem wa Facebook, had amassed over 44,000 views in just two days.
Vishy claimed that the song was taken down due to copyright infringement, but she did not specify who had reported it. She said that she had put a lot of work into the song and was frustrated that it had been taken down.
"I've done nothing wrong," she said in a video. "I was just doing my thing. It cost me so much, now what I don't know."
Vishy is a popular figure on social media and has over 1 million followers on Instagram. She is known for her bold fashion sense and her outspoken personality.
The removal of her song from YouTube is a setback for Vishy, who is hoping to launch a career in music. She has said that she plans to appeal the decision to take down the song.
It is unclear who reported Vishy's song for copyright infringement. However, it is possible that someone may have objected to the use of a copyrighted sample in the song.
YouTube has a policy of removing videos that infringe on copyrights. This policy is in place to protect the rights of copyright holders and to ensure that users can find the content they are looking for.
Vishy's case is a reminder that even popular social media figures can have their content taken down by YouTube. If you are uploading a video to YouTube, it is important to make sure that you have the rights to all of the content in the video.
