President William Ruto has signed the IEBC (Amendment) Bill, 2024 into law.
The signing ceremony took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
Azimio leaders Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka were present during the signing.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula and other leaders were also in attendance.
The bill, passed by Parliament, is based on the recommendations of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report.
Security officers were deployed along major routes and key locations from State House to KICC.
