2022 top student scores 431 marks

The best student for 2022 KCPE has scored 431 marks.

Speaking on Wednesday during the release of the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said the top candidate for 2022 got 431 marks.

He noted this was an improvement from the 2021exam where the best candidate got 428 marks.

Some 1,244,188 candidates were registered for the examination. The tests were administered from November 28 to 30.

This is the second-last edition of the KCPE examinations before the 8-4-4 system of education is completely phased out of the primary school curriculum next year.

It is the first KCPE examination release for Machogu.
