The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its application portal for students seeking admission into Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) programmes.
In a notice issued on Tuesday evening, KUCCPS said the window will run from 1 to 14 October, giving aspiring medical students two weeks to submit their applications online.
The exercise will cover a broad range of certificate and diploma courses offered across KMTC campuses countrywide.
Courses on Offer
Certificate options include Medical Engineering, Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine, Health Records and IT, Emergency Medical Technician, Public Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, Community Health Assistant, and Health Insurance Management.
Diploma programmes available are Mortuary Science, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy, Community Health, Radiography and Imaging, Public Health, Medical Social Work, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Health Counselling, Medical Engineering, Pharmacy, Health Records and IT, Orthopaedic Technology, Speech and Language Therapy, and Health Promotion.
Requirements
Students have been directed to log in to the KUCCPS portal for full programme details and entry requirements.

Certificate courses require at least a KCSE grade of C-, with passes in relevant cluster subjects.

Diploma courses demand a minimum grade of C, with specific cluster qualifications.

Upgrading courses call for a certificate in the relevant field.
