Kenyans on social media have heaped praises on former president Uhuru Kenyatta's daughter Ngina Kenyatta after President William Ruto's daughter Charlene Ruto revealed the existence of the Office of the First Daughter. 

The first daughter has been courting controversy since her father won the election in August this year as she started traversing the country visiting various county governments and other officials. Yesterday, during a youth summit in Arusha, Tanzania, Charlene set tongues wagging after revealing she runs the office of the First Daughter and has a team including a principal advisor. 

Her announcement shocked Kenyans who were left with more questions than answers as many wondered about the operations and sources of funding of the said office.

This brought up Ngina Kenyatta's name on social media platforms as many reminisced about the kind of humble First Daughter that she was.

Kenyans heaps praises on her 

Many said through the Kenyatta Trust which she serves as a director, Ngina was able to sponsor many needy children through school and she did not once, brag about it on social media. "FYI Former President Uhuru's Daughter Ngina through her Kenyatta Trust has sponsored over 3000 children from disadvantaged family backgrounds across the country from High school to international University. Yet! We have never seen her brag on media," a woman identified as Noonie Gathoni said.

"Ngina Kenyatta is a very good example of a beautiful lady who does not like being the centre of attention.

"Ngina Kenyatta doesn't brag about what she does daily for communities across the counties."
