Popular Kenyan YouTuber Trudy Juma, better known as Miss Trudy, has shared a deeply personal message of encouragement to women struggling with infertility and miscarriages, a day after announcing the birth of her first child.

In an emotional post shared on Monday, February 9, 2026, Miss Trudy reflected on her long and painful journey to motherhood. She revealed that she suffered six miscarriages over several years and spent much of that time unsure whether she would ever hold her own baby.

“To every woman out here dealing with infertility or miscarriages… I pray that just as God did it for me after six painful miscarriages and many years of waiting, He may do it for you too,” she wrote. “Don’t give up.”

Her words struck a chord with many women who quietly endure similar struggles. In Kenya, as in many parts of the world, infertility and pregnancy loss are often experienced in silence, shaped by stigma, social pressure and limited emotional support.

Miss Trudy urged women to hold on to hope, even when the wait feels unbearable. She spoke openly about faith, patience and learning to trust timing that often feels unfair.

“I pray for every woman dealing with infertility or miscarriages. Don’t give up,” she added. “Though it may delay, wait for it. God’s timing is perfect.”

Her message followed months of guarded silence around her pregnancy. When she finally announced the arrival of her child, the news was met with an outpouring of support from fans across Kenya and beyond.

The couple’s journey has previously been shared by her husband, Ghanaian travel vlogger Wode Maya, who has spoken candidly about the heartbreak they faced during their marriage.

In a post shared on January 11, 2026, Wode Maya reflected on key moments in their lives together, including repeated losses.

“September 2021 — we were told we couldn’t have children. December 2021 — I asked her to be my wife,” he wrote.
“September 2022 — we got married, on the same day she lost her mother 13 years earlier.”

He later revealed that after six miscarriages, the couple became pregnant again in 2025.

“Through every challenge, every loss, and every tear, our journey is a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope,” he said. “God is the greatest.”

While medical experts often note that miscarriage is more common than many people realise, public conversations around it remain limited. Miss Trudy’s openness has helped bring the issue into the light, offering comfort to women who may feel alone in their pain.

For many of her followers, her story is not just about motherhood, but about endurance, faith and choosing hope after repeated disappointment.
